With over 35 years of contracting, repair, and maintenance experience, Christopher of CMS Home Projects has worked with residential homes and estates, as well as commercial facilities (schools, stores, restaurants, hospitals).

Riverhead Building Supply | RI/CT/MA (MARCH 2022 - 2023)

In a brief return to construction, Chris updated his practice with current industry standards:

• Assessed and repaired building exteriors and offices

• Identified and resolved safety concerns on large commercial buildings

• Troubleshot and repaired mechanical and electrical problems

• Assisted in construction for store design and layout

St. George’s School | Middletown, RI (MAY 2013 - MARCH 2022)

As a crew member for the local high school, Chris responded to maintenance requests from faculty and students, as well as up-keep of the beautiful campus grounds:

• Managed electrical and lighting installations 

• Ordered all electric and fuel supply, as well as performed tank readings and delivered inspection reports 

• Ordered and installed all window treatments 

• Coordinated pest removal services for 84 buildings 

• Hired and oversaw electrical contractors on facility projects 

• Additional responsibilities to ensure smooth campus operations:

  • On-call every 7 weeks (24/7 duty) for all Campus Emergency Resources

  • Set up for special events equipment 

  • Supported mailroom team (packages)

You may recognize Chris as a friendly face around Thames Street, where he was supervisor and safety chief for local restaurants:

• Maintained crowd control and building capacity standards 

• Managed employee hiring and scheduling

• Wrote incident reports and worked with emergency responders

CMS Construction | MA/RI/CT (1989 - 2008)

Chris was a business owner, licensed homebuilder and carpenter for 18 years. Over this time, he worked with dozens of families to realize their home improvement visions. He designed and delivered projects for commercial and residential properties around New England, including:

• Home additions (interior and exterior)

• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling

• Roofing and siding

• Subcontractor management: electrical, plumbing, tree and landscaping for safety concerns, etc.
